As a Labelling Assistant, you will be part of the Labelling department. The department currently consists of six Labelling Specialists, and we carry out our work in close collaboration with our Sourcing, Quality and Design departments as well as external suppliers and partners.
In Labelling, we coordinate the preparation and quality assurance of declarations and packaging texts for all markets and ensure that the final artwork for packaging is correct and complies with applicable legislation and Coop's standards.
We therefore expect you to have an interest and flair for reading and understanding relevant legislation, so that we ensure correct labelling for all Nordic consumers every day.
The position as Labelling Assistant is a newly created position, with room for development. For the right talent, the position might be the first big step towards becoming one of the future's successful Labelling Specialists in Coop Trading.
You will be responsible for your own product categories and at the same time solve tasks to help throughout Labelling.
Your primary tasks:
- Coordinate translations and proofreading of declarations into the relevant languages
- Quality-assured final texts on artwork before printing in accordance with current legislation and Coop's standards
- Communicate with external suppliers and business partners about possible adjustments to texts
- Actively participate in the department and contribute to the common tasks in Labelling
Your professional qualifications:
- You have as min. a bachelor’s degree within food or chemistry.
- You have the ability to understand scientific literature, legislation and regulations
- You are fluent in written and spoken Danish and/or another Nordic Language.
- You have excellent skills in English communication.
- You are good at spelling and your understanding of grammar is particularly good
- You have a flair for IT and have an interest in getting to know new systems
