Georg Jensen is looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist for the Data & Analytics team in Global IT. The position is based at HQ in Frederiksberg, close to Metro, bus, and the Frederiksberg Gardens.
We are looking for a BI Specialist to join our team, who will work on our data analysis and visualization needs to drive better insights and decision-making across the business. As our BI Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our data infrastructure and developing insights into the company's performance. You will also work closely with our cross-functional teams to create reports and visualizations that can help them understand their performance and make data-driven decisions.

The role
The Business Intelligence Specialist will generate data analysis and visualizations, ensure data and reporting availability, as well as grasp data optimization and automation opportunities for Georg Jensen’s worldwide locations. You will become a part of the entire process, starting from data collection, designing wireframes and mock-ups, defining, overseeing, and improving the logic and deployment of our data models, automating data pipelines, and building dashboards and other BI solutions.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance our data infrastructure to ensure it is scalable, secure, and reliable
- Design and develop data models that reflect our business needs and support our data analysis and reporting requirements
- Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources to produce reports and insights for business stakeholders
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to provide insights into business performance
- Work with Azure and Azure Data Factory to integrate our data sources and ensure that data is correctly loaded into our data warehouse
- Ensure that data quality is high and consistent by designing and implementing data validation and data cleansing procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting and data analysis needs and create appropriate solutions
- Ensure that data is properly secured and compliant with relevant data privacy regulations
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience with SQL, Power BI, Azure, and Azure Data Factory
- Experience with data modelling and designing data architectures
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience working with large datasets
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations, such as GDPR
- Are service minded, ambitious, and self-driven
- Understanding of ERP systems and integration workflows Experience as a consultant is beneficial but not a requirement
